Making Mango Juice with Milk: A step-by-step guide
The juicy, refreshing mango is not only delicious, but it’s also
great for your health. Plus, if you need a drink to cool off from the hot
summer heat, this sweet and creamy concoction will hit the spot! Here’s how to
make mango juice with milk, along with some variations you can try out on your
own!
Choose your mangoes
Pick up a ripe mango or two from your local grocery store. If you can,
find mangoes that are already cut into cubes to save on prep time. You'll also
want to grab a carton of milk and some ice cubes for the perfect drink! 1) Peel
the skin off of each mango 4) Scoop out
all of the fruit from inside by using either a spoon or an apple slicer.
2) Slice open one end 3) Make cuts in your desired pattern 4) Scoop
out all of the fruit from inside by using either a spoon or an apple slicer .
5) Add 1 cup of sugar (adjust according to taste). 6) Stir well. 7) Fill glass
halfway with ice 8) Fill the rest of the way with milk 9) Add one teaspoon of
honey 10) Pour juice into glass
Peel and cut the mangoes
Start by peeling the mangoes and cutting them in half. Slice off
any fleshy parts on the sides of the mango. Slice or dice the mango meat into
cubes for a smoother consistency. Put all of the cut pieces into a blender,
along with one cup of milk, one tablespoon of lime juice, and one teaspoon
honey. Blend on high until smooth and enjoy! You can also use frozen mangoes in
this recipe if you prefer; just make sure they have been thawed completely
before blending it all together . For more sweetening, add additional honey at
any time while preparing your drink. The mixture will be ready after about two
minutes of being blended, so watch carefully to ensure that it doesn't become
too warm or over blend. Once complete, strain the mixture through cheesecloth
to remove any small chunks and seeds that may have not broken down during the
blending process.
Add the mangoes to a blender
Peel the mangoes, slice them in half, and place them in a blender.
Add water to cover the mangoes and blend until they are smooth. Place a
cheesecloth over a large bowl, pour the blended mixture into it. Use your hands
to squeeze the cloth so that all of the juice is extracted from the pulp. The
leftover pulp can be composted or used for cooking. If you want more milk in
your juice, replace some of the water with milk before blending. For example,
if you use two cups of milk instead of four cups of water, you will end up with
two cups (rather than four) of mango juice! Don't forget to add any other
desired ingredients such as ice cubes or vanilla extract. And finally, serve
the mango juice in a tall glass with either chunks of fruit or slices of ginger
on top to create an even fancier presentation!
Add milk and sugar to taste
1. Peel the mango and cut into chunks, then put in a blender.
2. Add milk to taste, plus sugar to taste.
3. Blend until it reaches your desired consistency, then pour into
glasses or cup and enjoy! 4. If you want more sweetness, add more sugar to your
liking. 5. If you want less sweetness, add less sugar to your liking. 6. The
leftover pulp can be stored for later use by placing it on top of a paper towel
to dry for about two hours before storing in an airtight container in the
fridge. 7. You can also make smoothies out of the leftover pulp by adding some
other fruit and blending together! 8. Enjoy your delicious mango juice!
Blend until smooth
Grab your favorite blender and add 1/2 of a mango, 1 cup of milk,
and some ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Pour into a glass and
enjoy! If you want to jazz it up even more, throw in some raspberries or
blackberries. You can also substitute 2 tablespoons of honey for 2 tablespoons
of sugar if you like your juice on the sweet side. The best way to cut up a
mango is by slicing off one side of the seed. Then make horizontal cuts around
the fruit (but not down to the skin). Cut vertically across each horizontal
slice so that there are several smaller wedges left. Now all you have to do is
peel off each individual wedge from its skin and discard any large chunks that
are left over from cutting around the seed. Once peeled, put each individual
wedge through your juicer as usual.
Serve over ice
1. Peel and slice the mango, and then put it in a blender. 2. Pour in milk until the blender is full, making sure to leave enough room for blending. 3. Blend on high for about 60 seconds or until you can't see any chunks of mango left in the mixture. 4. Serve over ice cubes, garnish with an orange slice if desired, and serve immediately! If your goal is to have less pulp, use more milk. For more fiber, add more mango and reduce the amount of milk. You may also use water instead of milk to make this recipe vegan friendly. Simply use almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, etc. Don't worry if you don't want the drink to be too sweet because you can always adjust by adding less sugar than what's called for in the instructions. If adding all fruit isn’t your thing then try using other fruits like apples or pears; just be careful not to overload on sugar because these fruits are naturally sweeter than mangoes.
